The Feastory by DestinMe: Where Every Event Becomes a Feast Worth Remembering

The Feastory is not a catering company. It is a feast design experience — where every choice from cuisine to live counter to dessert experience is yours to make, and every event becomes a story worth telling.

What Is The Feastory?

The Feastory is the luxury catering arm of DestinMe — India's premium estate and destination living brand. Born from hundreds of events hosted at DestinMe's curated properties and BookaEstate villas, The Feastory distils years of culinary expertise into a single, elegant platform: an online feast designer that puts the power of a world-class menu in the hands of the host.

The idea is deceptively simple. Rather than calling a caterer, filling a generic form, and waiting for a quote that tells you nothing — The Feastory lets you design your entire feast in under ten minutes. Choose your feast tier, select your cuisines, curate your menu from 3000+ dishes, and receive an instant PDF brief with your complete food cost estimate. No back-and-forth. No ambiguity. Just clarity, craft, and a deeply personalised experience.

The Philosophy: Luxury Is Silence, Not Noise

Most catering platforms overwhelm. Dropdown menus, package codes, per-person minimums buried in asterisks. The Feastory is built on the opposite principle — that true luxury is silence, not noise. Minimal text. Maximum emotion. Every interaction intentional.

The experience is designed to feel closer to an Aman Resorts booking or an Apple product configurator than a catering website. You are not filling a form. You are designing something precious — the table your guests will remember for years.

Three Feast Tiers. Infinite Possibilities.

The Feastory offers three curated feast structures, each designed around a distinct occasion and scale.

Light Feast — Graceful & Intimate

Designed for intimate gatherings, daytime ceremonies, and Pankthi Bhojanam-style luncheons. One welcome drink, one soup, three starters, three mains including rice, two breads, a salad, and a dessert. Complimentary Fryums, Papad, Curd Chillies and Plain Curd. For 20 to 500 guests.

Medium Feast — Abundant & Memorable

The perfect balance for weddings and celebrations. Two welcome drinks, two soups, four starters, four mains, one live counter, three breads, two salads, and two desserts. For 50 to 1000 guests. Setup is included for events of 500 guests and above — buffet counters, service staff, and drinking water during service.

Full Feast — Grand & Legendary

A complete sensory journey for grand celebrations and palace events. Three welcome drinks, two soups, six starters, six mains, three live counters, four breads, three salads, three desserts, and a dedicated dessert experience. For 100 to 2000 guests.

The Live Counter Experience

The Feastory's live counters are where catering becomes theatre. With over 444 live counter options spanning every cuisine — veg and non-veg — the live station is the centrepiece of any grand feast.

From the Andhra Podi Rice & Pickles Live Station with six authentic podis and a selection of pickles, to the Athreyapuram Pootharekulu Experience, the Live Biryani Deg, the Sushi Rolling Counter, the Korean Buldok Noodle Station, the Mezze from the Souk, the Live Pasta Station, the Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Show, and the Belgian Chocolate Fountain — the live counters transform a buffet into an immersive food journey.

The Medium Feast includes one live counter. The Full Feast includes three, plus a dedicated Dessert Experience station.

Intelligent Pricing. No Surprises.

Pricing at The Feastory is driven by a sophisticated engine that accounts for feast tier, dietary selection, cuisine count, meal type — with dinner carrying a 5% uplift for extended service hours — and guest count. Volume discounts apply automatically for larger events.

The final per-plate and total food cost are revealed only after the client completes their feast design and submits their contact details. A 5% GST applies on food cost only. Beverage and alcohol are quoted separately, since availability and pricing vary by state excise laws, venue licensing, and brand selection.

Pricing is for food cost only. Venue charges — electrical, crockery, cutlery, labour, garbage disposal, royalty, rent, and security deposit — are payable by the client directly to the venue.
